During the period 1902-1913 a curriculum was demanded from all conscripts enrolling to the regiment of Värmland at Trossnäs field.
The curricula contains information about for example birth location, birth date, family and working experiences.
Often the recruits had been abroad, 1902 about 1/6 of all the recruits had been to Norway for working. At this point 1902-1909
are published and contain a searchable index of about 4 000 people. Digital documents are published to every post. This work
is done within the Interreg-project "Crossing borders" and is a cooperation between the Swedish American Center, the Norwegian Emigrant
Museum and Karlstad University.
