Scanned original Sändebudet

In addition to the register in EmiWeb today scanning of obituaries from the swedish-american paper sändebudet has begun. Today more than 3000 obituaries from 1910-1922 are scanned. 1923 and onwards are being processed and will be integrated in EmiWeb.

Swedish-American grave index

Mellerud's museum has begun working on a grave index over church yards in the USA, with a large fraction of Scandinavian descendants. To this index also also supplementary information from miscellaneous local historical organizations and individuals in the United States is added.

The conscript's life stories 1910 - 1913

The Swedish American Center keeps digitizing the life stories. The index is expected to be finished during the spring of 2011.

Catalogue over the Swedish-American church archive

The Catalogue is composed by the Swedish Emigrant Institute. NB! Important information to interested of the SAKA material. Due to legal reasons publication is not possible at this time.

Digital indexing of Employees at the Northern Pacific Railway Company

The Swedish American Center is making the NPRC material searchable. This demands much work and is expected to continue for a long time.

Brazil travelers

Göteborgs-Emigranten is publishing a database created by Gunvor Flodell concerning emigrants to Argentina and Brazil during 1889-1911. The register includes 659 families and their descendants, totally thousands of posts. A majority of the material covers emigrants to Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil and Misiones in Argentina.

Swedish sea captains in California

Göteborgs-Emigranten is publishing an index of about 300 sea captains from ships registered in California.
